This is a short but sweet post...
As many of you know my background is a "guess that ethnicity" game show. So, I have west indian and southern in my family tree. Tonight, as a sort of random homage to my roots I just made my first batch of fried tomatoes (no not green like the movie). Soooo tasty...omg...the guys might be assed out as I sampled one and it was amaziiinnggg. :) Yummy! I'll post pics later :). Oh yes, and that is a side dish for my curry beef stew with red beans & rice.
